Since you have a 2022 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser, it sounds like you are likely wanting to get a smoother ride rather than replacing leaf springs. You can use a shock kit to accomplish that. I have included a couple shock kit options below. You just need to pick the one that fits your axle.
- Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks # LC281255 (if you have a 2-3/8" axle)
- Lippert Bolt-On Shock Kit w/ Heavy Duty Gas Shocks # LC281281 (if you have a 3"axle)

When it comes to weight distribution, the most important factor is tongue weight. It sounds like your tongue weight is 400 lbs dry, so we will want the fully loaded tongue weight. This is typically 10-15% of the weight of the trailer. So, assuming you are at the GVWR, you may have up to 897 lbs of tongue weight. I recommend measuring using a scale like the # e99044 to be sure.
Ideally you want the tongue weight to fall in the middle of the tongue weight range of your WDH. If it is not... view full answer...
It really comes down to what the loaded tongue weight would be when the 2023 Gulf Stream Vista Cruiser you mentioned is ready to tow. Keep in mind that any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle counts as additional tongue weight. Since the unloaded tongue weight is going to be 440 lbs I would be inclined to believe that you'd need the Blue Ox TracPro part # BLU67FR which has a tongue weight range of 600-800 lbs and has the ball size you need of 2-5/16 inches. On the vehicle side the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System # RVS-091406 that you referenced does not require anything beyond just plugging the monitor into the cigarette light outlet. I attached the install instructions for this kit for more info for you to check out as well.
The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind... view full answer...
The running lights circuit you need for the activation circuit of the camera of the Rear View Safety Wireless Backup Camera System # RVS-091406 is going to be ran to the trailer taillights. If you look at your taillights there will be a circuit ran to them that has 12 volts when the headlights/running lights of the vehicle are on. You can use a circuit tester like the part # PTW2993 to test the wiring there till you find this circuit and then run it to the camera of the kit. view full answer...
